ABSTRACT
Nowadays, people wants to achieve what they want effortlessly. This application will provide an easy way for its users to reserve seat and book a movie ticket at their convenient time. The Movie Reservation System is online application whereby anyone who has an internet connection can gain access. A user will be required to login to the system by entering the appropriate details and following the procedures that will be provided on the system and needs a credit card to complete the booking process. Tickets will be sent to the customers email containing a barcode which will tackle corrupt customers from sneaking into the cinema hall. Tickets can also be collected at the counter. Watching movies in a cinema hall is a medium of entertainment that is appreciated by most people after having a hectic schedule. But all this excitement disappears after standing in long queues to reserve a ticket. This application provides the solution to the problem because it provides the opportunity for users to be able to reserve seat and book a movie ticket at their convenient time provided they have an internet connection. It also give users the opportunity to cancel their reservation due to unforeseen circumstances
